History
Family owned and operated, this company was started with the dream of two individuals. James "Red" Griffin and Marlin "Scott" Clark Sr., with five decades of experience combined, opened the company's doors on January 21, 1994. Marlin James was founded on an incredible combination of loyalty, integrity, and just plain pride that lives on to this day.

- I have used Marlin James Air Conditioning & Heating for about 17 years. They are very knowledgable, professional, fair, and above all, HONEST. When they say it's fixed, it is fixed and fixed correctly. If there is ever a problem, you can be assured that it will be resolved immediately. - I used Marlin James service 2 years ago on my house AC. They were great. So I came back and used their service again recently on my rental property. - Thank God and Marlin James Air Conditioning. During a recent "a/c servicing" another company (Superior H & C Mgt.) left some bolts loose on the fan motor. This cause the fan not to operate properly and lead to much bigger problems. In my opinion this was no accident. I had used the other Superior because their price for service was less than most. Well, you get what you pay for and I will not make that mistake again. After being given a rediculous figure for repair by Superior I dug out my warranty papers. Got Marlin James on the phone: The woman that answered the phone was friendly and professional. She got one of their techs out right away. The techs were the best and didn't mind explaining the problem and how it came to be. We needed a new fan motor and compressor. The unit is 9 years old and I expected to hear excuses as why the repair would not be covered but no problems. Marlin James covered it all under warranty. This would have cost us around $2,800! Am I happy? YEAH!!!! Thank You Marlin James!!!!!!Angry Business Owner
- You get what you pay for! I had Superior Heating & Coolin Magt. Inc. do their 10 minute $35 "service" and 4 hrs later notice the outside unit making a loud noise. Called them back out and was told I needed a $500 fan. The situation left a bad taste so I call Marlin James who installed the system. They found wires out of place that caused a systematic distruction of the unit. They replaced boards, capasitors, wireing, fan motor, even the compressor, and the bill could have been $6K but it was covered under MJ warranty. I can not thank Marlin James A/C and their techs who worked two day well after dark to get my a/c back up and running. In this economy we need companies that we can trust and I totally trust Marlin James Air Conditioning. Thanks again guys!mfowler101
- After another company "serviced" and tampered with my a/c Marlin James A/C responed quickly and explained the problem. All was repaired to our satisfaction in a timely manor. Do not fall for the cheep anual or bi-anual service trap. There is a reason they are working so cheep and they will make it up in some way!Maggie Fowler (Thonotosassa)
