Thanks Giving
Do you know a family in need of a replacement heating & air conditioning system? Perhaps a friend, family member or co-worker that has fallen on hard times and is going without heating or cooling?
Submit your story of a family in need November 4, 2011 – December 9, 2011. Winner will be announced on December 19, 2011.
Send an email directly to giving@marlinjames.com with their story. Please be as detailed as possible and also be sure to include the contact information for the nominee and yourself.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
Before you nominate someone, please review the following questions to see if they qualify for the program:
1. Do they own their residential home (no commercial properties) and are a resident in Hillsborough County, Florida and within 40 miles of our office? The Nominee must be within our normal service area.
2. Have they had central heating & cooling in the past and therefore have an existing duct system? This program is for replacement of existing heating & air conditioning equipment only.
3. Are they in or near foreclosure? heating & air conditioning equipment, once attached, is considered a part of the real property and cannot be removed and moved to another location.
4. Are their utilities currently on? The nominee must have all applicable utilities on in the home.
5. Is the home in generally good condition? Electrical wiring must be up to local codes.
6. Can their budget bear the inevitable increase in costs that heating & cooling would add to their monthly bills?
7. In order to further promote the program, would the parties have any objection to being filmed and/or photographed personally, or having the installation documented?
The following restrictions apply:
Employees affiliates and family of Marlin James Inc. are ineligible. Free system includes the following equipment: single speed air handler, 13 SEER heat pump and digital thermostat, all labor and installation supplies, 1.5 ton to 5 ton system. Nominee’s current equipment must be verified by Marlin James Inc. technician as inoperable and beyond repair. We reserve the right to verify all information submitted for accuracy. Nominees must be Hillsborough County, Florida residents. Other restrictions may apply based on type of dwelling.
